About Us
Oak Grove Baptist Church is located along highway 80 in the unincorporated community of Elmo, just east of Terrell, Texas. It was founded as a mission church in the late 1980’s, and continues to serve the Elmo community through various ministries. Like it’s name suggests, it has been planted in a small, little grove of Oak trees which is a reminder that it is a “planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor…” Isaiah 61:3.
